It is the mission of the Young Democrats of Harford County to give Democrats 39 years old and younger in Harford County a voice in the political process. Our county has a reputation for being rural and conservative, but we know times must and will change, and with advocacy from groups like the YDHC Harford County will once again become a bastion of Democratic ideals, a power player in state politics instead of just a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of Baltimore.
Many denizens stress the importance of the environment with Harford County at the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay along the Susquehanna River and is also one of the first counties in the nation to implement smart growth development.
This group is a community of people 39 and younger who are dedicated to the ideals espoused by the Democratic party. We advance these ideals through community service and political action. We maintain our community through additional social activities.
