MCYD is supporting the Educating Maryland Kids coalition, a state-wide network of education organizations, faith groups, labor unions, and civil rights advocates dedicated to defending the Maryland Dream Act.
The effort to protect this important legislative victory will require the contributions of Marylanders from all walks of life to stand up for Maryland students who:
have graduated from Maryland high schools, pledged to legalize their status as soon as possible, and have parents or guardians that have filed Maryland state taxes for at least three years.
MCYD is working with the Educating Maryland Kids coalition to train our members to speak about the Maryland Dream Act at meetings of likely voters.
